Age Friendly Island

Age Friendly Island (Isle of Wight) is part of the World Health Organisations (WHO) Global Network of Age Friendly Cities and Ageing Better Communities. This international movement was established to help create inclusive and accessible environments for older people, and will be engaging islanders to see older people as a valuable resource to their communities and society. The main focus is to highlight how we need all ages in our communities to engage with each other and older people such as grandads and grandmas have so much to offer children. Papa Owl has 2 granddaughters, Fifi and Flossie, and together they make a flying machine.
